Celestia and Oliver stopped their conversation, a dreading silence filling their room, the only noises that could be heard were from the flickering flames inside the lanterns and the powerful branches of a tree silently beating the outer walls of the room, Oliver stood there drinking a glass of homemade cider, meanwhile Celestia took her time to read books about witchcraft, since sooner or later she will become a witch.
Oliver sometimes took small glances at the young diguised Kilin child, "She's so pretty..." thought Oliver, as he inspected Celestia's innocent form, "So elegant and so smart..." thought Oliver again, feeling as if a bond was starting to develop between the two, Oliver quickly gave himself a mental slap as he realized what he was thinking, "God damn it Oliver! You can't marry her! She's five years younger than you, she dosen't even have the age to begin an intimate life!" thought Oliver finally, he sighed as he placed the empty glass aside and slowly got up, Celestia looked at him with her adorable eyes, "Where are you going?" asked Celestia with an adorable voice, Oliver silently gulped, thinking of a possible excuse to escape the situation, "I'll go see what Ethel is doing, you don't mind right?" asked Oliver as he leaned on the door frame, "No, i don't mind." replied Celestia with a small delay as she kept reading the book about withcraft, shortly after she answered Oliver's question, he left.
After a few minutes of explaining, Oliver finally told Ethel about his feelings for Celestia, who laughed a little.
"Well then why don't you confess to her? She'll be more than happy!" Said Ethel quietly so that Celestia wouldn't hear both of them, a smile was on his lips.
"I can't!" Quickly replied Oliver, "She's five years younger than me, she dosen't even have the age to marry someone!" finished Oliver as a blush formed on his face.
"Age is just a number." Said Ethel as his lips shifted into an evil smirk.
"And jail is just a room." Replied Oliver giving a cold look, "Also the guillotine is just a butcher's machete, am i right?" asked Oliver, this made Ethel sigh and roll his eyes in defeat.
"Alright, what's going on here?" Asked Luka as she sat near the two Kilin bodyguards, with interest in her eyes as she looked at both of them.
"Oh nothing." Replied Ethel innocently, "Oliver is just developing a crush on Celestia." finished Ethel, only to be quickly slapped on the back of his head by Oliver, who gave an annoyed growl.
Luka instantly giggled, "Is that why you're so mad?" asked Luka with a smile, "Oliver, sweetie, there are countless stories of people marrying people MUCH younger than themselves." continued Luka, "There is no problem if you marry someone five years younger than you, the only problem you will have is to reason with Celestia's father." said Luka, her voice being cheerful and sympathetic, "But i doubt that, as long as she truly wishes something, her father will allow it." finished Luka as she took a small sip from a cup containing mint tea.
Oliver remained there silent, only to then sigh, "I... I guess i will find a perfect moment to confess." said Oliver, "I can't just straight up enter her room and say: 'Celestia i love you! Please marry me!', or something like that." finished Oliver, only to then yawn in exhaustion.
