his trunks split, and disintergrated. also, the area around the pool changed, from the Thrivesons' house, to the open sea.
His body soon lost almost all traces of it's former self, his hair is almost all gone, his face bulged into the the toothy jaw of a whale, and his arms continued to retract and shrink.
the leg remnants disintergrated as he floats in wonder.
