1977. A family of four has bought a brand new colour television, complete with rabbit ears and the latest in technology, a VHS player. The electrical discounters were willing to have themselves deliver the television to the family's home. While at the last legs of the journey to the house, a freak lightning storm struck down the van carrying the television, VHS player and rabbit ears. The lightning seemed to struck where the television was located. Apart from that, both the drivers and all the equipment was fine, not damaged, and safe. Yet the television screen lit up and started to pulsate, like the lightning was still contained inside the television, and it somehow affected both the rabbit ears and the VHS player. It also seemed to affect the VHS tapes that the family of four selected as a gift when they bought the VHS player. One by one, the VHS tapes started to shake. The tape about fairy tales from the youngest. The tape about wildlife and other animals from the oldest child. The romantic movie from the mother and the film about alien contamination from the father.
The van arrived at the family's house, unloaded the TV, VHS player, and rabbit ears from the van, and installed it into the family home, not knowing what could come next...
