She recalled the day she hatched from her egg in the brooding caverns. Underneath the planet's surface she had to fight for survival against thousands of millions of other grubs just to eat, and they often ate each other. The ones who survived in one way or another managed to spin their cocoons, and soon emerged from their metamorphosis in a more appropriate form.
She remembered undergoing the Trials, quickly having to adapt to her new body as she continued to fight for her life, watching helplessly as many of her peers perished in gruesome fashion. Very few managed to survive, and soon these lucky few were taken in by lusii of their own. Soon her own lusus found her, and they imprinted on each other almost immediately. She was given the name Jenfir Smiith that day, and they departed towards their new home.
She remembered growing up on the planet Endoria was rough, but not quite as much as some others. Great monsters would regularly assault their new home, but those monsters eventually became her food. Her lusus proved to be one of the greatest kinds by far, being able to communicate in Trollish language and walk upright on two legs helping in that regard. She developed a variety of interests, and desired to become the captain of a team of great motivators. Other bigger trolls of higher blood would bully her, or attempt to kill her for giggles, but she managed to survive if even only barely at times. Nevertheless, she made the most of things as the sweeps went by.
She remembered the day she turned a purple-blood that was trying to kill her into a stone statue. It was the first time she had ever used her magic on anyone, or ever knew she had transformative magic. She saw the statues former cronies sweat with fear as they struggled to comprehend what had happened. She remembered turning them into other things like a stuffed creature, a masturbatory toy, a tree that grew flowers, and a plastic hoofbeast. Soon, the high authorities learned of her frightening powers and immediately recognized her as a mutant.
And Her Imperial Condescension hated mutants.
The sea empress ordered that Jenfir be culled, lest she try to usurp her rule. Her lusus took her away from the Imperial Drones that were tasked with carrying out this deed, and stole a spaceship. They tried their best to find a distant planet to hide, while Jenfir swore to herself that she would learn to control her mutant magic. They soon found Earth, and made it their new home.
