Oliver put a towel around his body. That way when people saw him outside they would assume he was wearing a bathing suit since it was Summer.
Oliver went through the back door and giggled this was never sort of mischief he wasn't allowed to enjoy anymore. Anyway he had come up with an idea, instead of wasting his precious money on clothes he could just get some from the neighbor next door. He was also in 7th grade and lived with his parents and two older brothers.
Oliver had seen that Michael (the neighbor) had left his window open and had left to go mow the lawn. All Oliver would have to do would sneak inside without Michael noticing, "borrow" some of his clothes and sneak out the window back to his house.
Oliver spotted the opportunity when Michael went into the garage to get gasoline to refill the lawn mower. Oliver dashed and went through the opened window. He fell on the floor and head a loud thud. Thankfully none of Michaels family was home at the moment. Oliver quickly found some jeans and a red shirt and put them on after putting on a white pair of briefs ("Really? I though he would have out worn these by now") grabbing some socks Oliverror was fully dressed. He quickly snuck out the window and went back inside his house through the back door.
"That went smoother than expected" Oliver said as he ran back to his room. Suddenly he heard a door knock. Uh-oh nobody knew that a 13 year old boy lived here but a man in his twenties. Oliver looked through the peephole and saw Michael...did he know? Oliver braced himself and opened the door,
"Nice shirt," Michael told Oliver and he smiled. "Anyway is Oliver home?" Michael asked. "No, but I can leave a message" Oliver said, "Who Are You?" Michael asked. "I'm Oliver cousin...Randy" Oliver lied. "Oh, I wanted him ton help me fix my lawn mower," Michael said. Oliver grinned. "I can help you, I've fixed a few lawn mowers before" Oliver said. "Really, thanks it would help a lot, my parents said they wanted the lawn completely mowed before they got home from my brothers football game" Oliver followed behind Michael and helped him fix the lawn mower. "Thanks, hey a few of my friends were going to go to the mall. Want to come?" Michael asked Oliver. "Sure...let me ask my Uncle first though" he lied.
After a goodbye Oliver found himself in his house again relieved. It had felt good helping his neighbor. But now he also had an opportunity to hang out with kids his "age". Everything was going well until he notice his finger, the ring was missing. Meanwhile Michael found a ring on his lawn. "That was close I almost mowed it" He put it on his finger and continued to mow the lawn.
