Looking around the playground, Edwin's eyes landed on an adult man, who looked absolutely bored out of his mind, disregarding the children around him.
His new memories told him that the teacher's name was Mr. Ortiz, and that he was supposed to be monitoring the kids. Apparently, he wasn't doing his job, and Edwin didn't need his new memories to understand that this wasn't a first time thing.
His child-like mindset decided to leave it alone, as this meant more freedom for the kids. However, his older mindset conflicted this, reminding Edwin that this guy was basically getting paid to do nothing.
Edwin didn't react much to the reminder of his older mind, however, which worried him a lot less than it should have. He simply wanted to continue using the Chronivac, and Mr. Ortiz was just the man to use it on.
He skipped towards the man with childish innocence, giving the lazy teacher a smile as he approached him. "Hi there, Mr. Ortiz, how's your day going?"
Mr Ortiz didn't give him more than a wayward glance, before talking back in a monotone voice. "God.... I hate kids like you, get away from me."
Edwin was put off, frowning as his feelings were hurt. He took out the Chronivac emitter, and selected Mr. Ortiz, ready to enact a change.
