"And for my next trick" you hear a voice bark out, "I shall need an assistant."
You wake up, groggy, remembering the cocoon situation as you see nothing but a black wall of twine in front of you.
"You, young lady, can you verify that there's nothing inside my hat"
You feel the girl's gigantic fingers poking at you.
"Nothing but this weird, mushy lining" you hear a voice much too young for fingers of that side blurt out as an audience laughs.
"Now, that's, uh, just the way top hats are dear. Normal, every day top hats." You feel yourself dropped on a table.
"Add a little magic dust..." barks the magician, as you see a dull blade poke through your cocoon, eyes adjusting to the light at an inhuman rate as he gropes around at your head. "And Viola!" A gigantic hand clenches around two giant, floppy growths on the top of your head and jerks you up out of the hat.
You squint, barely making out a stadium of applauding people through the flood lights. "I'll just hand flopsy here to my lovely assistant" he says as he scoops you up by your fuzzy rump and plops you in the hands of an oversize woman in a butterfly suit who cradles you in her arms, walking you to the backroom.
"And for my next act..."
