You grimace as you shield your head with your spindly arms, wishing it to never happen. The sound of a car lock activating makes you jerk in horror...
Until you notice the constant car lock sound. Looking up, you see Keith jabbing the keys at you and roughly pressing the key hob. Suddenly it doesn't seem too scary anymore. Be minded, the 7 ft anthro bear is still intimidating, but the assurance that the keys don't seem to work granted you strength.
Bear-Keith repeatedly pressed the buttons on the keys however nothing seems to happen.
"Come on!" He growled out, his anger causing him to bare his rows of teeth. "Why is this not working!"
"Maybe only I can use it.." walking forwards, you stand nearer to Bear-Keith, cautious but friendly.
"What makes you special huh! As if you're the Chosen One!" He roared, eyes wild and deranged. You hold out your hands to placate the raging anthro. His mouth frothes as he snarled.
"I got shocked by it. I think the keys were just a conduit." You stood your ground, afraid but brave. "Give me the keys Keith."
He seemed to snarl, and suddenly lunged. Alarmed, you dodge to the side and ungracefully fall flat. Keith however returned with full on vengeance on a downed prey.
You roll to the side as Keith scrabbles the place you once were. He snarled to you, angry beyond reason. It was then you noticed. Keith dropped the keys.
You lunge towards it, picking it up and spun a perfect 180 and aimed the keys at Keith. The problem is that Keith was already mid lunge, and you are directly in his path.
'Fuck it'
And a flash of purple light pulses from your hand into the keys, firing a purple beam straight into Keith's mouth.
You however was not spared. The claws still outstretched raked your shoulders as you dodge a rapidly changing anthro. Fresh blood spurt from your ruined shoulderblades, falling to the ground in a heap of pain.
The anthro rapidly writhed on the ground, shrinking. The sparks and lights ravaged the anthro with a vengeance, stabbing and constricting. Soon, only a huggable plush doll of an anthro bear remained.
You lie there, bleeding. A massive doll smiling at the sun and you on the floor in a small puddle of your life.
