As much as disappearing without a trace seemed to appeal to the wilder side of herself, she just couldn't do that to the people she loved.
Marina pulled herself back into the boat and grabbed a towel to dry herself off with. To her relief, as she dried off, her tail turned back into two human legs. She quickly got dressed, pulling on an old t-shirt and jean cut offs she had stashed in her bag. She pulled on a pair of sneakers as well. She tossed the damp towel aside and started up the boat motor. She drove the boat back to her home. Once she arrived, she grabbed her bag of diving equipment, monofin and tank and walked inside.
"Marina, your home!" Marina laughed as she happily embraced her little brother, Patrick.
"Hey there Patrick." She smiled, lifting up her 6 year old brother. Marina was glad she decided to come back. She absolutely adored her brother and just the thought of leaving him made her sick.
Patrick winced as his sister hugged him. This alone raised all her red flags. She knew she could not of hugged him that hard. She put him down and lifted his shirt.
The sight sickened her. Her brother had been abused! Without a second thought, she scooped him up and took him outside.
"Patrick, you Know how you always I look pretty in my Mermaid tails?" Marina asked as Patrick nodded.
Marina dove underwater. While underwater, she disrobed and surfaced on the boat dock, wearing a Sea shell Bra and sporting a real Mermaid tail.
Patrick was amazed. "Is it.." he started.
"Real? Yes, would you like to touch it?" She asked. Patrick nodded as he stroked it. His sister giggled slightly, it tickled.
"How did you become a real mermaid?" Patrick asked.
"This Amulet is magic." She said, motioning Patrick to remove his clothes. Patrick did and Marina put the Amulet around his neck.
Patrick felt compelled to dive into the ocean. Upon doing so, he transformed into a green tailed merman, not only that, but his injuries were completely healed. "Come Patrick, Let's go live in the ocean." Marina said with an inviting, sisterly smile. Patrick smiled as they swam off together to live in the ocean.
