Now as we all know raising dragonets can be such a hassle for adult dragons and the solution
the adults have come up with is to contribute
a portion of their individual hoards
to what could be called a
"Communal Nursery Hoard"
Basically a sort of communal daycare centre where
all the adults drop off the kids
so the adults can do adult things such as
mating,going out shopping
burning down villages and hauling of screaming feminist human maidens from
sacrificial posts.
The kids on the other hand spend the day in that
Communal Nursery Hoard Cave playing with
the gold diamonds and other goodies.
So all the dragon communities dragonets were
in the Nursery
when the earthquake struck and the front entrance of the cave collapsed and sealed the little darlings inside
behind hundreds of tons of boulders dirt and trees.
So Thoren Sky and the Green Dragon quickly forgot about mating and rushed to the sealed
Nursery Cave.
However they could hear no sounds from the trapped dragonets inside
which meant the kids
were either dead or there was a lot more rubble trapping them inside then the adults would have preferred.
The Green Dragon and Thoren rushed off to retrieve the other adults
which left Damon and Skyshing behind
to reassure
the hopefully still living kids.
At this point Prince Brendan and Prince Alexander came winging in on
Prince Brendans latest
invention
a windup
OrthniCopter Brendan had built from plans from Leandardo Da Vinci
Skyshing eyed the weird human contraption
but figured the dragons would need
all the help they could get to rescue the kids in time
