"Right, I'll do it".
Everyone looked at Babs, slightly shocked.
"I've got nothing to do and nothing to lose, so let's start this thing" Babs replied to the shocked members of the group.
Nat started to pout, the big weird thing has happened to them and Babs is going to play the game that got them stuck in a void, she wasn't happy. "It should have been Marcus" Nat thought, but she has always thought that whenever something bad happened.
Babs walked to the game, front side to the box. The box had a small key on the side and a button on the other. The front had two blocks of wood that were shaped like dice glued on near the bottom of the box, and near the top was a small letter-box-like hole.
"So, I guess I...turn the key then?" She thought. Babs was usually the tomboy of the group, she usually followed the style of the boys, most notably Nigel's laziness and Marcus's "jokes". She was intelligent, but she never shown it outside of school. Now that there was no outside in general, there was going to be no harm in being intelligent now.
Babs turned the key, and in an instant, the blocks that were glued on moved back and started to spin. Babs, while being surprised by the movement of the dice, had to think about the perfect stopping point for a high number. Numerical figures flashed through her mind as she timed the dice to see what was the perfect time to stop. Finally, she stopped it, at 15.81 seconds.
A three and a four.
Her little figure moved up the board, passing blocks of several colours until it stopped.
A card popped out reading...
