A weird screeching and beeping noise reaches my ears. 'If my nuzzling hadn't woken Furry this noise would've' I think as I cover my sensitive ears with my flippers. I feel the two-fin transport jerk to a stop followed shortly by the loud noises. I tune out my colony's scared barking as I hear some two-fins communicating in that weird language of theirs that I can slightly understand somehow. It was a he driver that was talking to Zed before and... Some others?
"You got the wrong guy!" The Driver yelled, "I was told to transport these things to the aquarium!"
"Nice try," a female voice stated, "but they aren't expecting any orders today. We checked."
Let's see what you have on the back, ay?" A male voice quipped, "I'm sure we'll find something COMPLETELY legal inside that you OBVIOUSLY have the right papers for."
There's that noise from when we were trapped and the weird-movement-sound of a two-fin getting closer. My colony was in hysterics by this point making it impossible to go unnoticed by the two-fin. Suddenly a bright light shine in through my new of the cracks I tried to investigate with my mate-I MEAN WITH FURRY! YEP, TOTALLY MEANT FURRY... Wait is the crack larger? And why is that two-fin looking at us like that? Really! I mean, you'd think he's never seen a harbor seal before!
I noticed that everyone else was now huddled at the far end of the crate with the bulls out in front of their mates... Like Furry's in front of me... I would've thought more on Furry's actions but the two-fin looked interesting and non-threatning so I decided I'd play with him. As I bounded towards him in a playful manner he backed up and fell on his backside. I kept getting closer, though slower so as not to spook him again... Until I hit the magic wall.
Seriously, how long can these two-fins keep up their magic? Do they have an endless supply of energy or something?! My ma-Furry rushed over to me after seeing my collision with the magic barrier to make sure I was okay. And after making sure I had no visible injuries, began licking my head where it had bounced off the barrier. The two-fin had, by this point, gone out of sight around the corner and was talking to the female.
Eventually they trapped us in darkness again(though they didn't seem to be as hostile as the previous two-fin that trapped us) and we began to move again. I must have fallen asleep at some point because the next thing I knew I woke up to the smell of saltwater and fish as well as the sound of many two-fins communicating with each other. I noticed that I was no longer in a crate but a large closed-in area with lots of sunlight, smooth flat rocks, and saltwater. I smiled as I saw my colony laying around on the rocks. Then I looked beside me and I began to purr with happiness. Beside me was my mate... You know what fine! You win instinct! I give up! Furry can me my mate, just don't expect a thank you!
