Todd's ear kept itching. He didn't know why, he wasn't thinking of any animal, and he looked in the mirror to see if he was changing, even removing his clothes to check around the whole body, but he checked several times and he wasn't changing. Still, his ear was still itching. So he scratched it. He scratched it and scratched it. It was a while before he realised that the way he was scratching his ear wasn't normal. Both his palms were on the floor, in between his legs, and one of his legs was scratching the back of his ear. He was scratching his ear like a dog. Mr Todd stood up immediately in realisation, with his hands perched up like paws, and looked back at the mirror. For some reason, he thought that there was someone in his way. A part of him knew it was just a reflection, but a stronger part of him thought that it was another person, so he started to tap at it, thinking that the other person might either interact with him or go away, but he kept doing what he was going to do. He started panting, with his own human tongue hanging out. Something was happening, but he truly didn't know what.
