...but his train of thought was cut off by someone else going down the stairs.
"Mom! Do you buy any more peanuts?"
Jeff couldn't believe it. His sister had the same changes that his mother had. Everything, even right down to the trunk.
"What are you staring at?" his sister replied.
Jeff couldn't say anything. He struggled to say anything back to his sister, he was still shocked.
Thankfully, his sister's glare was cut off by Lauren "Of course I did. They are in the bag on the left". Jeff looked as his mother gestured to the bag with her trunk.
"Thanks, mom!" Rosie said. She grabbed the box of peanuts and opened it with her hands. She then grabbed a handful of peanuts, threw them into the air and grabbed them with her trunk, putting them into her mouth.
Jeff stood there, stunned by what he just saw, his jaw agape. His sister looked back at him "Are you just gonna stare at me, fartface?"
Jeff snapped back to reality. He realised that even though she changed, she was still his annoying sister. He had to respond. "Bubble-butt!"
"Ding-dong!"
"Doink!"
"Fish for brains!"
"Motormouth!"
"Dork!"
"Turd!"
Her trunk trumpeted loudly, as if it was used as an insult.
And, strangely enough, he trumpeted loudly too.
"Hey, I want no fighting in this house! That was too loud, the neighbours from across the road might hear that!" Lauren said.
Jeff couldn't believe the sound that he made. He was scared. He ran upstairs out of fear, something was happening to him. He ran into his room, trying to find the mirror. He found it, and as soon as he looks, he noticed he changed as well. Since his mother was now part elephant, the whole family was too. He had all the changes that both his mother and sister had. Everything, even the trunk, but it somehow didn't show up when he looked at his hands and feet. To him, they looked human, but the mirror shown a different picture. Just then, he saw his skin slowly starting to turn grey.
He didn't know what to do next...
