Melissa was driving back home after visiting a friend out of town. It was dark and rainy making it hard to see. The road she was on was completely unfamiliar to her. "Shit", she thought to herself. After mindlessly driving down the road she came to a halt. She barely had any gas left and she barely had an idea where she was. She had to find someone that could help her. Walking down the road she was getting completely drenched by the rain. Her casual outfit clinging to her skinny body. Eventually she stumbled across a mansion, the lights were on. Finally someone that could get her out of this mess. The mansion was clearly well taken care off. There was only one thing off, the door was open. Why would anyone leave the door to such an impressive mansion open? Shaking her head she went inside. The interior looked like every rich persons wet dream. A mix of very expensive looking antique stuff and modern equipment.
Melissa called out but there was no answer. She slowly creeped through some of the rooms trying to find somebody but there was nobody. Thinking that the person just wasn't home she made her way back to the front door only to find it locked. "Somebody here to visit me? How lovely!" an older feminine voice echoed through the foyer but Melissa couldn't make out where the voice came from. "Well you are a little late to catch me alive, only as a ghost I live on in here. Anyway I would be a bad host if I would just let you leave! My maids should have prepared a small meal in the dining room. We can talk while you eat a bit, you look hungry!
The completely anxious Melissa made her way to the dining room where two mannequins dressed in maid outfits just finished up the meal. It was eerie to see how they moved. While the mannequins simply stared at Melissa she began to eat. "So who exactly are you?", Melissa asked. "I'm Victoria, owner of this mansion. I used to be a rich businesswoman, had everything I wished for but... anyway what about you? You are the one visiting me after all!", the ghost answered. "I'm Melissa, I got lost and my car went out of gas, do you have telephone so I can call som-.", she said with a slight shiver in her voice just to be interrupted by the ghost, "Oh I do but... I don't know if I can just let you leave like that. You should rest upstairs until the storm has calmed down". One of the maids grabbed her shoulder and led Melissa to the bedroom upstairs.
