As Sasha came back into the room, she thought something seemed off at first and she wasn't quite sure what it was until she noticed Gloria smirking a little smile while touching the ring.
"Gloria, what the hell?" Sasha whispered to Gloria and stopping her from using the ring on the three women any more. Gloria and Sasha looked at Claire, Michelle, and Nicole who were only in their early 20s now.
"What? I just thought they might be a little bit more fun if they were younger." Gloria admitted.
"Gloria, my dad and Claire are currently dating if you remember. You were the one who helped me hook the two up and now if she's younger than my dad, he'll be alone and miserable again. I don't want my dad to be like that....and I don't want you to be like this." Sasha said as she started to cry and headed out the back door.
"What? Sasha, wait!" Gloria said running out the back to catch her friend.
Gloria found Sasha sitting on the steps of the back porch crying.
"Sasha, what's wrong? Talk to me." Gloria insisted putting her hand on Sasha's shoulder.
"Oh, now you want to talk to me? Because it seems you've just been ignoring us and wanting nothing to do with your friends." Sasha accused.
"Sasha, that's not true."
"Oh yeah? Then tell me, do you know what's going on with Naomi's dad? Huh? Do you?" Sasha asked.
"Uh....he's....going camping?" Gloria guessed as Sasha stared at her blankly and then began to chuckle.
"Oh my god....oh my god....you really don't know, do you?" Sasha asked as Gloria just looked at her.
"Okay I'll tell you: cancer. Yeah, do you remember last Thursday when Naomi was looking down for most of the day? That was the same day she found out too. They caught it early, so he's got a good chance of survival, but wow, I really thought you knew."
"I'm....I'm sorry, it's just I've been so angry lately at Katie for something that I kind of felt just like distancing myself from you all, just so I could forget about my problems and....maybe they'd go away." Gloria admitted to her friend.
"Well they won't. Not unless you actually confront the problem. Gloria, I'm your best friend: you can tell me." Sasha urged as Gloria looked at her friend and took a breath.
"I won't go too much into it. The easiest way I can put it is that before Felicia and me went out with Nate and Adam the first time, Katie got a little bit worried and sent Samantha and Mike on the date with us as chaperones basically because she thought Nate and Adam might've been up to something and Katie said that I had made mistakes with the ring as if she didn't make mistakes too." Gloria sighed.
"Gloria, Katie probably did make some mistakes with the ring too and she knows you'll make mistakes. Everybody always makes mistakes with something. But the point of making a mistake is to learn from it and do better and you have been doing better with it and I know you always try and find it in your heart to make good decisions." Sasha said to Gloria as Gloria gave her best friend a hug.
"Thanks, I'll....try and make amends with Katie later, but for now I think I should change back Claire and those other two." Gloria said as she used the ring and the three women became their regular ages again not knowing anything had happened.
Gloria and Sasha went inside now to talk and for the first time in many days, Gloria felt much better.
"So....do you want to go visit Naomi?" Gloria asked Sasha.
