They ended up settling on Grace. It was a name Colin thought up in case Jack didn't like any of the other ones. Jack... well Jack got some ideas from the name in question, ones he put into action from the moment the pale, blue eyed, brunette baby emeged from her mother's womb.
Once Ebony had recovered enough to walk on her own, she was forced into removing the gothic aspects of her appearance. Every day she tanned in the sun for an hour with no top, with Colin watching over her and blushing at her exposed nipples. They made her take out her black hair dye, which revealed her hair's warm redhead hue (her dad was brunette and that skips a gen, apparently). She was "encouraged" (thanks to Jack's shotgun) to dress in some more conservative blouses and skirts. She was also forbidden from going by "Ebony", and made to refer to herself and be reffered to by her birthname, Bella.
Colin just sat there soaking in the sight of someone who looked as goth as can be shaped into the mother of the person Jack planned out of Grace: the student to resident preacher girl Mary Anne.
"N. Nnnnnn. N-N-Noah!" the skinny girl with the tight bun smiled at Colin and Ebon- Bella's baby.
"Oah." Grace cooed.
"Close enough for today." Mary Anne sighed as she headed back to resident nerd Chester with their own daughter.
Colin could tell his baby's mom wasn't happy about being stripped of her entire identity. But they had to make the most of it; they had a kid now, Jack had them bound to the house. They lived their lives as Grace grew into one of the most devout faithfuls Jack had ever seen. Praying for friends they lost, warm and gentle to those closest to her, and even taking up the mantle of the peacher herself when Mary Anne was consumed by the horde that loomed around every corner....
