Nerd. But, hey, ask and you shall receive.
This might seem unorthodox, but I figure you deserve to know a bit about our enterprising cast before you get really into this. That's just the kind of person I am.

ETHAN MALICK: Mission Leader
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Height: 6'2
Build (Why give you an arbitrary number for weight. Most of us are too busy to imagine what 210 lbs looks like, anyway): Broad shouldered, fit. Works out regularly. It's part of the job.
Hair: Black. They still have that fashionably pointy not-quite-fauxhawk fauxhawk thing in the future.
Eyes: Green
Personality: Arrogant, self-sure, condescending to the nth degree.
Bio: Ethan is the youngest Horizon researcher ever selected to lead his own mission. He's been on a few forays across the proverbial vibrating string, and thinks he's seen it all. You'd think seeing what he's seen that he'll have a greater sense of his place in the world, and a healthy share of humility, but you would be very wrong. He's perhaps the biggest asshole at Horizon, and none of his teammates are looking forward to taking orders from him.

SEBASTIAN "SEB" LEACH: Head of Research
Age: 27
Height: 5'9
Build: Lanky, some might say scrawny. What he lacks in strength, though, he more than makes up in quickness.
Hair: Red. Curly. He tries to comb it for work, but nobody ever notices, so what's the point?
Eyes: Blue. Wears glasses, as the future has only made more people blind and corrective contacts more expensive than they already are.
Personality: Brilliant mind, but lacking in creativity. This, compiled with a natural shyness makes it difficult for him to assert himself or even to speak up in a social context. If he weren't such a genius, it's hard to imagine him ever being put on this team to begin with.
Bio: Seb graduated at the top of his class, and probably would've made valedictorian if he'd bothered to join a social club or a team or something. I mean, who goes to school to SOCIALIZE, right? Of course, he quickly learned that you can be the most learned cosmologist in the world, but none of that matters if you're too afraid to string a sentence together. Still, he quickly moved up the ranks at Horizon, becoming one of their lead researchers, and developing a fair number of the new gadgets this particular team will be using. Note that that's the only reason he's even on this expedition to begin with. Seb is excited at the opportunity of course, but dreads having to rely on other in what are sure to be high pressure situations. The others are about as enthused as he is to have him with them to begin with.

THADDEUS "TEDDY" HARKNESS: Field support
Age: 37
Height: A whopping 6'6, doubling as both very impressive and two thirds of a perhaps coincidental omen.
Build: Like a tree. He's practically a huge toned bicep, all his limbs capable of crushing you to powder with the simplest of gestures. He's huge, is what I'm saying.
Hair: Black, military crew cut.
Eyes: Brown
Personalty: Actually warm and kind despite his rough and imposing exterior. He's got a sense of humor, and values order, while managing to avoid being either obnoxious or authoritarian.
Bio: Teddy is a former Marine living out an early retirement by taking contract jobs with companies, because you have to pay the rent somehow. He doesn't resent this as much as he probably should, though this probably owes a lot to internalized rage. Who knows? In any event, he's companionable, to the point, and a good man in a tight place. He's been on missions to other dimensions before, but this is his biggest. He's prepared for most eventualities. Take that as a challenge if you must.

DEX DEXMAN (That's his actual name. Or so he told H.R) - Logistics
Age: 26
Height: 5'11
Weight: Not overweight, but has a beer gut. He does do push ups every morning. When he remembers.
Hair: Blonde and wavy, down to his shoulders. He wears it in a messy ponytail when on the job.
Eyes: Hazel. Some would say that's not a real designation, and it's either blue or green, but they're wrong and not fun.
Personality: Flippant, good sense of humor, maybe TOO good. He takes nothing seriously and reportedly slept through field training. He's also remarkably lazy, and will take any way out he can. But, in a pinch...like, when his own life if in danger, there's no better guy.
Bio: Dex's past is an enigma. All that's known about him is that he's been working at Horizon for a couple of years and is liked and loathed by everyone in equal measure. Really, it's hard NOT to like Dex. In small doses, that is. He's in charge of tactical support for this mission...radio contact, emergency repairs, driving the van. It's a cool van, wait till you see it. He's no veteran at dimension hopping, but he's not worried about screwing up or anything. He never worries about screwing up, it makes it harder to screw up. Right?

These four men are about to embark on an adventure far beyond what any of them expect, to places above and beyond the human realm of understanding. The things they will see and the things that will be done to them will shock, terrify and, dare I say, excite them in ways they had never dreamed.
What is this adventure?
You know how this goes...it's all yours to decide.
