Kellie allowed herself to be shrunk further. It was a bit weird to feel herself growing smaller and yet her body remaining the same shape. But at the same time, her clothes weren't shrinking. It was starting to get awkward with her pants threatening to slip down. She also had to hold up her shirt because it was threatening to slip and expose her breasts, which her bra wasn't capable of covering at the moment. "Mary, stop," called Kellie.
Mary released her spell's power, leaving Kellie at 4 feet. Kellie was relieved that Mary had stopped when she asked. If Mary were less restrained, she could probably have shrank Kellie down to doll size and taken her Ring of Age. But Kellie could trust Mary. Still, it was inconvenient to be partially swamped by your own clothes and trying to keep them from sliding off. "You look so weird," said Mary.
"Yeah, I bet," said Kellie, "But I have my own way of shrinking you down to size."
"Give me your best shot," said Mary.
Kellie concentrated on her ring and wished Mary to shrink down physically to 8 years old and her clothes to change with her. Mary soon started winding back through time. The boobs that puberty has recently granted her started deflating and shrinking back into her chest. Her hips were also losing their width. As Mary shrank, her clothes were also changing. She was leaving her more Gothic years and going back to when she was more sunny in personality. Mary watched in awe as her hands shrank, the nail polish vanishing. When Mary stopped shrinking, all signs of puberty was gone, leaving an 8-year-old girl in brighter clothes.
"Huh, so you can change clothes too," said Mary, her voice sounding higher-pitched.
"I'm sure you can too," said Kellie, "But that's not all I can do."
"What else?" asked Mary.
"I can alter reality to make people think the changes are normal. Or I can just affect your mind," said Kellie. To prove this, she wished that Mary would regress mentally to 8 years for 30 seconds.
Mary's eyes widened as memories of high school emptied out of her head. The peer pressure she felt was lifted as she cared more about playing with her friends. Who cared what the big girls say? They don't know how to have fun. "Kellie, do you still have some dolls?" asked Mary, her tone more innocent.
"I think you should wait a few seconds," said Kellie.
"But I wanna play. Can we go outside? Your room is so boring and..." Mary paused as her mind reversed its regression. Memories came flooding back in, some memories she didn't like. But her knowledge was quickly filling up on what she had just forgotten. Just as quickly as it started, Mary was back to her old intellectual age. "Ok, that was creepy," she said.
"I know. People never even notice they've been changed," said Kellie.
"Don't ever do that to me again."
"I won't, unless you want me to."
"Why would I want you to?"
"You'd be surprised how fun it is to escape back to childhood."
"Well, I'm ready to escape from childhood if you're ready to grow," said Mary.
"Ok, just wish me back to normal and I'll do the same for you," said Kellie.
With a silent wish, they both started growing again. Kellie had to adjust her clothes as they had slid out of place with her shrinking. Mary was taking interest in how her body was going back through puberty. Her breasts' growth spurt had been shocking the first time, but now she actually enjoyed watching her boobs grow back.
When they were back to their normal sizes, Mary asked, "So, your ring can change ages and reality and my ring can change everything else."
"I'm not sure if yours can do everything else," said Kellie, "We should test it some more."
"Maybe," said Mary, "But with these rings, we could probably become any kind of woman we want."
"Did you have something particular in mind?" asked Kellie.
"Well, now that you mentioned it..." said Mary.
