"So how they doing," Gloria asked her sister.
Katie watched as Marilyn, Ann, and Lisa talked. The three grown down adults seemed to be getting along so far.
"Pretty good I think," she said quietly. "None of them seem to be getting any younger so thats good."
"Think it will last," Gloria asked.
Katie rubbed her chin thoughtfully, wondering if they could work things out. "Guess we have to wait and see."
"Wow mom I dont think we've sat down to talk like this in ages," Ann said. Marilyn smiled as she gazed at her youthful daughters. "Yeah it's nice," she smiled. "But until this is over can you like, just call me Marilyn? I feell kinda weird being called mom when I'm barely that much older than you two."
"Marilyn, Marilyn," Lisa sang before bursting into a fit of giggles.
"You don't have to like sing it Lisa," she smirked, playfully shoving the the youmg red head girl.
As the girls giggled Marilyn examined her children smiling. "You know you two really are such good kids," she said. "Ann your so level headed kike your Dad and Lisa, yoy were always so fearless and independent. It makes me so proud."
"Lisa is usually fearless," Ann chuckled to which Lisa frowned.
"Its not my fault I got scared Ann," she grumbled. "In case you forgot."
"What are you talking about Lisa," Marilyn asked. "Ann do you know what she means?"
Ann went slightly pale as she turned towards her young teenage mother. "Ummm sorta," she stammered.
Marilyns frowned as she now narrowed her eyes at her older daughter. She had meant to give an intimidating motherly stare but at her current age she looked more kike a petulant teen.
"Well spill it Ann," she stated. "What happened?"
Ann fidgeted in place as she shyly glanced at the older girl. She realized she was about to get in trouble for her actions of 30 years ago and was not looking forward to it. "Ummm Marilyn," she stammered. "Remember that time Violet and me had a sleepover. The thing is Lisa came downstairs when you went to bed and...um...we kinda made her watch a scary movie."
"What," Marilyn exclaimed, her eyes growing wide with anger. Turning towatfs her youngest she now began to put the pieces together of why Lisa was so scared when she was 9.
"You showed your 9 year old sister a scary movie?!? Ann, Lisa spent six monthes sneaking into our room to sleep in our bed. Every morning your father and I woke up stiff because Lisa tossed and turned all night."
"It was an accident," Ann said meekly.
"Accident," Marilyn cried. "Like spilling milk is an accident, breaking a lamp is an accident. This was on purpose."
Marulyn huffed before critically looking at the embarassed 12 year old. "What movie did she watch?"
"Texas Chainsaw Massacre."
"Like what the hell Ann," Marilyn screamed. "You showed your little sister THAT movie. Ugh!!!!"
Marilyn glowered at Ann, her face contorted with rage. Acting on instinct the teen now shoved the preteen blond, sending her crashing to the floor.
"Ow," Ann wimpered. Wiping her eyes the young preteen now stood, finding herself slightly shorter than the teen. In one fell swoop she kicked at the auburn haired teens shin, causing her to yelp in pain.
Marilyn quickly launched herself at the blond preteen as the two engaged in an epic cat fight.
"Let go of my hair Ann," Marilyn cried.
"You let go of mine," Ann countered.
The two children continued to punch and pull at eachother before tumbling to the floor. As they continued to fight they yelled curses at one another.
"Girls STOP," Martin yelled as he now tried to seperate the two.
Marilyn and Ann now tried to catch their breath before looking up at Martin.
"She started it dad," Ann pleaded as she gazed at the auburn haired teen.
"Dont listen dad," Marilyn cried. "Ann freaked out Lisa by letting her watch some stupid scary movie."
"Uh oh," Katie whispered.
"What," Gloria asked as she watched the two girls now try to blame the other and win favor with Martin.
Katie sighed as she looked down at Gloria. "Im pretty sure Marilyn and Ann jusy got mwntally younger," she sighed. "Now they actually think their 14 and 12."
