You spot a half-open box of bird seed, the front decorated with a bright yellow canary and given your current state you can't resist trying some. You crane your neck a bit and routinely peck at the seed, which tastes better than you had expected - though that's most likely because you're a bird now. Not minding potential side effects, you continue to eat the bird seed as your feathers start losing their various colors, your chest starting to fade into a solid red while your back feathers turn black and your bottom white. While the feathers change color, they also shrink and your tail feathers curl back until they extend straight from your body. Your neck has practically disappeared and your beak has become shorter and rounder, making your body a lot more compact. By now, you've noticed that you're growing smaller by the minute, and ultimately you're not even big enough to reach the box with your body anymore, and with a few short wing flaps you fly over and land on it, for the first time letting out the shrill song of a red robin.
