The rest of the night he chilled with his friends, all the while keeping the stone secret. As he laid in bed that night, Ray continued to brainstorm some of the wishes he could make tomorrow. There were so many possibilities! He couldn't choose. If only he wasn't constrained by time, he would try to do them all!
At that moment, a wicked smile showed up on Ray's face. An idea was forming in his head. A wicked good one at that. He always had a thing for magical exploitation such as stories of mischievous genies, which he enjoys reading online. The framework for the wish was nearly complete. The stone's use is only limited by time. What he had just realized was that he had a time-traveling stone!
The next morning, Ray got up at 8 and slightly revised some scribbles he made last night regarding the wish. He wanted to get it absolutely perfect, that way he gets an infinite number of wishes. If he messes up, there's always another chance 12 hours later, although he would prefer not to wait by getting it correct now. He got one of his old backpacks out of his closet and put it on the floor in front of him. He double-checked one last time before holding the stone and reading off the sheet of paper.
"I wish that if I throw this stone into any bag, after 12 hours it would time-travel and teleport into my hand the second after the moment I put it in the bag."
He then cautiously threw the stone into the bag. A second later, lo and behold, a stone appeared in his hand. "Holy shit." Ray yelled, shocked that he was actually able to game the system. "I still gotta check if this gave me new wishes. Um, I wish I had a nice pair of shoes. The air near the foot of the bed shuddered before becoming all misty. The mist began to compress and colorize, and soon enough formed a pair of Nikes. "WOW. Just wow." He had a moment of silence contemplating his newfound incredible power. He threw that stone into the bag and a fresh one appeared in his hands. He used that to change his old shoes into new ones. The morph happened relatively quickly compared to the other shoes. "So the rules were saying things about creating things out of thin air. It does seem that already having material does speed up the process. "
