"...snout"
Ashley was far too confident about this spelling bee, so much so that she didn't know about James having a beak. She was determined to win, no matter the cost. She stood up and strolled to the microphone. She smugly asked "Can you use that in a sentence?". The judge chuckled under her breath "The pig has a snout". Ashley cleared her throat and began to spell the word.
"Snout. S. N. O. U. T. Snout. *snort*" Ashley said, somewhat unaware by the pig-like snort that she just made. Her nose felt like it was being pushed against a glass pane, stretching upwards, showing off her nostrils. Her nose pushed forward, curving to create a muzzle-like pig snout, yet Ashley was still unaware of the change. Actually, she felt like it was a normal attachment of her body. Her body also started to look more pudgy than before, and her skin looked pinkish in some places.
"Thank you, Ashley, you may sit down" the judge said. Ashley snorted in joyous response. Ashley still didn't notice the changes as she walked back, even when all the other contestants were staring at her like a circus freak. She felt like she just said the word and walked back. She sat down, and while waiting for the next contestant, she felt like it was completely natural to do something that she once found disgusting, pick her nose. While she was reaching for her new pig nose with her half-hoof-half-hand, she finally realised what she was about to do and grabbed her hand to stop herself. She finally now noticed her new nose.
