"Stop it Liv. Seriously" Kayla warned firmly, but her friend simply ignored her and continued with her spell which, before long began to take effect on poor James.
James shuddered as he began to feel himself change, dreading what he might become next. It soon became apparent that it would be something significantly smaller than his current form as he felt himself sinking down into Olivia's luscious, milky white thighs, her womanly scent growing ever stronger as he did. The changes seemed less pronounced than when he had turned from man to cat. He remained on all fours while his body and features adjusted, noticing more than anything that his tail was lengthening in proportion to his body but unable to see his fur change from black to white.
Suddenly, with a jolt he was thrown to the floor, fortunately landing neatly and instinctively on his feet.
"Ugh. Get it off me" he heard the drunken giant above him bellow. In terror, the vulnerable little white mouse that James had been reduced to scurried to the other side of the room where a tabby cat was sat, passively watching the events unfold.
"Hmm, serves you right" Ginger, now towering over James herself, purred smugly. Despite being a different species now it seemed she and him were still able to communicate perfectly.
"Give me a break will you?" James snapped with exasperation "You think I wanted any of this?"
"I know" Ginger sighed, her tone suddenly far more sympathetic "The way I see it we're both in this together and we need each other to get out of this nightmare."
"I completely agree" James replied, gladly accepting the olive branch.
"Cool. And just to let you know my name isn't Ginger. It's...."
Before the conversation could go any further James felt himself growing back into the form of a black cat. He hadn't noticed Kayla above him reversing Olivia's spell.
"Ok, no harm done" Kayla sighed at Liv without any apparent anger in her voicd "But I think it's time for you to go"
"Wait" Olivia ignored her friends instructions, seemingly preocccupied by a more pressing concern "Did I just see a cat and mouse hanging out together? I mean I've never seen a mouse run towards a cat or a cat not chase a mouse before. That's not normal right?"
"My pets are perfectly trained" Kayla shrugged unconvincingly.
Olivia laughed and strolled confidently towards her friend "Your pets were human more like"
Kayla remained silent.
"Ha! I knew it!" Olivia yelped gleefully.
"You seriously can't tell anyone Liv" Kayla seemed rattled now "You know what would happen to me. What would happen to them."
"Fine. But you have to give me something" Olivia demanded casually.
"Liv?" Kayla pouted, shocked at her friends betrayal.
"You are asking a lot of me" Olivia sat down and examined her nails as she spoke, suddenly seeming very measured despite her alcohol intake "I will be in just as much trouble as you if anyone finds out I knew about this. So it's only fair I get something in return. Like a really cool pet with a human mind"
James didn't like the sound of this at all. First of all he and Ginger couldn't be split up, she was the only ally he had. Secondly, Olivia seemed even less ethical than Kayla.
"Come on you don't need teo pets Kayla" Liv continued as her friend considered her options "Give me one of them and I have no choice but to keep your secret"
