So Jeff reached in desperately into that box of vials
and pulled one out.
He looked at the vial label and noticed it said
Curse Transference Vial
For once Jeff didn't toss it at Dragon Mary
but downed the contents
not sure what would happen.
What happened was that Dragon Mary began to shrink and change and a relieved Jeff was happy to see Mary was turning into a slender human Mary again.
She lay there on her hands and knees,not remembering a thing.
And naked as the day she was born.
That was fine by Jeff and before he joined her he heaved the remaining vials in that box
over a deep bottomless pit.
Then Jeff went to embrace human Mary
sure everything was all right now.
He clothed her in his own coat
led her to the car
and the two drove back into the town
where Jeff planned to celebrate Mary's return to humanity
with a night of sex.
Strangely however,that afternoon Jeff
felt
he'd missed something when
he'd downed that
Curse Transference Vial
