The ringmaster was buried under the flood of suggestions. There were so many fantastic ideas being tossed about, but it was making it hard to choose.
"Wait!" cried the ringmaster, hushing the crowd. "Perhaps we should get to know our stars a little better, before they make their big debut." He winked conspiratorially at the audience, before turning back to his volunteers.
"How are you two enjoying the circus?"
"I love it!" exclaimed Tayla, while Jared merely rolled his eyes. The audience applauded Talya's outburst, although only the ringleader saw Jared's disdain.
"Jared, how are you enjoying the circus?" probed the ringleader.
"I wish I wasn't here. I'm just doing this for Tayla." Jared admitted. The crowd booed.
The ringmaster shook his head. "That's no good at all. Everyone should be enjoying the circus." He turned back to the audience. "Isn't that right folks?" There was some light applause and nods of agreement.
"Well, if Jared isn't enjoying being an audience member, I'm sure he'll enjoy being the star of the show. Now then, what should we have Jared do?" Once again, the audience began hurling suggestions. The ringmaster eventually decided on...
