"...you must take on an aspect of your former transformation. And it looks like it's permanent too".
Jeff was stunned and speechless. Spending the rest of his life with a permanent aspect of his slug body still attached to him was not how he wanted to live for the rest of his life. "H-h-ho-how can I fix this?"
Archie looked at Jeff, his computer-generated face was trying to look sad "I'm afraid there's no much you can do, I'm afraid".
Jeff paced around his room, slicking back his hair with his hand in a blind panic. This went on for a minute or two, as Archie's eyes seemed to move whatever side Jeff was pacing to. Jeff had to find some sort of solution, he didn't want to be an outcast because he had a permanent slug part attached to his body. He had to think, something had to work. Jeff tried to ask several questions but always stopped, thinking that the idea wouldn't work. Finally, he asked a question to Archie.
"Is there anything that could be done so I won't have a permanent change?"
Archie thought about it for a while. "I'll see what I can do" Archie said, as his computer-generated face faded and a pop-up screen saying "Archie is thinking. Please wait a moment". So that's what Jeff did, he waited. And waited. And waited. It was almost half an hour when Archie popped back up, but Jeff immediately stood up to attention.
"There is a loophole that can make you bypass this permanent change..."
Jeff shouted in celebration, finally he was free from this permanent change.
"...except..."
Jeff was now concerned and confused. "What, what "except", what do you mean?"
"...the previous person who had changed will be stuck with a permanent aspect of the former change. And that person is your mother..."
