It was hovering in mid-air. It was this thin metal plate that was roughly the size of his palm, slowly spinning around. Jeff slowly moved out of his chair and walked towards it. He was strangely compelled to reach his hand to touch the bottom of this spinning disc. Jeff pushed his hand out forward to touch the disc. It felt strange in Jeff's hands, it felt like it was alive and warm, tingling with power. Jeff tried to lift it up to his fingers, but it stayed in his hands. He was confused and worrying, why was it stuck? Just then, he saw the disc trying to bury itself into his skin. He gasped as it was starting to sting, watching the disc fuse as it continued going deeper and deeper. He tried to rip it out of his hands, but it was impossible, it was fusing into his hand and becoming a part of his body. The disc went in deeper and deeper into his hand as his skin completely covered over, making it look like it never even was in his hand. He felt it touch his hand muscles. As soon as it entered his body, a sharp jolt of power went through his whole body. He felt it going through his veins, going past at the speed of light, making all of Jeff's hairs stand on end. The spark of energy hit his brain, making his eyes light up. As the energy died down, the lights in his eyes left as he blinked. Jeff shook his head, the amount of energy that covered his body left him is a headache. He looked back at his hand. The disc wasn't there. It was in him. It was in his body. All that was left there was a mark on his hand that looked like a spiral. Jeff was confused and concerned, what did he think about? What idea made this thing happen to him?
"You checking for warts, Jeffy?" a voice called out smugly. Jeff looked up, it was his sister. In shock, he raised his marked hand.
Then his sister went quiet. Her folded arms dropped like her whole body was numb. Her eyes looked glazed over. Her mouth was slightly agape. She looked like she was under some sort of trance. Jeff walked over to her, he didn't know what happened to make her like this.
A screen popped up in his field of vision, a screen that followed wherever his eye moved to. There was a list of information on the top corner of his vision, listing off details of other packages and details of his sister that he could change. Jeff knew what the disc was...
...it was the Chronivac.
He was now a living Chronivac.
