Now Mr Martin's profession was a f/x artist in the film and TV industry
and not with much success up to this point.
He'd spent the last week at a tradeshow manning his small
booth where he'd managed to hand out precisely
five business cards to the few industry executives who'd
ventured into that dead end part of the convention floor.
What neither Mr Martin,Circe or Anna realized was that the battered
chair Anna had knocked over was no longer
just a chair,but was actually
now a timid but huge dragon
hiding out as a chair.
So noticing that Anna had smashed and dented the chair in her attack
on it
Mr Martin took it down to his
tiny f/x workshop in the basement where he glued it up
fixed some of its loose joints and repainted it.
He was due to go back to the Mid West FX Trade Fair on Monday and he figured to take the chair, once the glue set and the paint dried
to his little booth.
The dragon chair didn't think much of Anna but had taken a liking to Mr Martin.
So come Monday Mr Martin loaded up the repaired dragon chair into his beat up
20 year old cargo van
he was somewhat puzzled about the carving of a dragon which had suddenly appeared on the wooden seatback of the chair
for he didn't remember this chair having such a carving on it before.
However he took it to the nine footballs field sized warehouse where the tradeshow was being held
nd put the dragon chair
behind his table
and waited for those elusive customers to notice him.
