While summer was great, especially in Animalia, it couldn't last forever. Because of this, most students dislike going to school, especially if it was a new school, even more so if it was a junior high or high school. One person (maybe cartoon maybe not) once described junior high as a jungle, with predators, their prey, a few unclassified species, and those trying to survive without becoming extinct. Fortunately, WSA was not entirely like that, and had many things to help new students adapt to their new environments. There were still some things that helped ease the transition from summer to "school".

Tiffany and Princess were getting back onto the bus to be ready to move into the new Pi Etta Tau building when one of her future dorm room mates caught up with her with some strange news.
"Sorry to hear that you didn't win the Bare as You Dare Competition." she said.
"Honorable mention is nothing to sneeze at." replied Tiffany.
"But your little 'bikini trim' somehow ended up in the 'Say No More Fam' meme that's been popping up on the internet from time to time." said the new dorm room mate.
"Thank you for the heads-up." groaned Tiffany.

One of the scientists was talking about another new part of Animalia Aquatica.
"One of the ones we are getting to do is that of a barreleye fish. It's one of the few, if not only, fish with a transparent head." he said.
"Can you imagine how life would be different for us if humans had evolved a transparent head." said his coworker, "Everyone would be able to see what you're thinking. While it would make detective work easier, it would be a lot harder to lie to your parents that you did your homework when you were actually playing video games."
"Or fibbing about who ate all the cookies." joked a third, to some laughter.

Josephine was a little surprised about the newest "tenants" to the farm, not the least because they were chickens.
"Apparently these 'brahma chickens' were bred from extremely large chickens from China." said the ecologist from Horizon Labs, "The males can grow up to 12 pounds in weight, or about 5.5 kilos, while the females only go up to 9 pounds, but can lay some pretty large brown eggs."
"Good to know that they'll be enormous when they're uplifted," said Josephine, "But right now I've got to get to another meeting. Apparently someone on the internet wants to have our sumo-trained pigs do a combined version of mudwrestling and sumo wrestling for the Harvest Games."
"Whoops, there it goes," said the ecologist, "Yup, my brain stopped."
"Get more omega-3s into you, it will stop that from happening as often as it is now." replied Josephine.

During one nighttime tour of the Luminous Reef, a new bioluminescent subspecies of fish was discovered. It was determined to be a subspecies of Sarcastic Fringehead fish, and they drew the attention when two males began their traditional "Who's the Boss Showdown". After a female was confirmed to move into the winning male's territory, both of them were caught to be transported for classification and uplifting. While both of them were classified as Sarcastic Bright Fringhead, they weren't uplifted quite yet, not until they were fully classified.

Another agent from Horizon managed to get to the liquor store where Kara was working. There was a big line there because there was a sudden upsurge in demand for blue Orangina Hard.
"How's your bill going?" asked the agent.
"I'm down to $190." replied Kara.
"You might need to know that your little arrival in the US sparked a new debate that locked the bill meant to control Animalia on indefinite standby."
"Is that good?" asked Kara, not getting it.
"Apparently your coming here by accident sparked a new debate about 'accidental immigration'. It's put the other bill on indefinite standby due to real cases of children falling asleep in boxcars and waking up finding themselves many miles from home." answered the agent.
"That's not good." replied Kara.
"That's what the president who wants to lock down Animalia thinks, but it did illuminate a problem that nobody really considered." said the agent.
