"I'm sorry Lynne, but I can't risk your life or your existence on an assumption." Lisa apologized as Marilyn agreed that while it might have been fun to be young again, there was plenty to do when she was older.
"Yeah, as fun as it sounds, I just want to spend the holidays as myself." Ann said.
"So do I." Stephanie said.
"Me too and I'm sorry that we unintentionally made this happen." Jackie apologized.
"Yeah, that goes double for me. After this, I swear I won't ever even consider trying to make money off of anything like this or even think about making it at all." Stephanie said.
Lynne sighed as she couldn't argue with their decision.
"Okay, well I'll call Katie and see if she can help too." Gloria started dialing her sister when Lisa stopped her.
"Hold on, I think we'll need someone who knows a little more about this than you or Katie." Lisa said as she began dialing Merlin's number. After a few moments of talking on the phone, Lisa hung up and there was a sudden knock at the door.
"Oh! He's here faster than I assumed." Lisa said as the five regressed women along with Gloria and Lynne went downstairs to answer the front door.
Lisa opened the door and saw Merlin standing there on the other side wearing a red business suit, no doubt as a little joke for the holidays in that he looked a little like Santa wearing red. Lisa, Gloria, Ann and Lynne had all met Merlin at one point or another. But for Marilyn and Stephanie, they were both seeing him for the first time and both had different impressions of him. Marilyn thought he could look like an uncle she had a long time ago, while Stephanie had a mix of emotions inside of her, Stephanie actually thought Merlin looked handsome in his suit as she felt her heart beat a little fast.
"Well now, it seems we have five little girls in this house, have you all been good little girls this year?" Merlin jokingly asked.
"Very funny Merlin, Lynne used a powder that only lasts for a few days to get us into the Christmas spirit, but we would like to be back to our normal ages, if you could do that please?" Jackie asked giving Merlin a wink and Merlin understood it.
"I see, so she used a powder, eh? Lynne Turner, you should know better than that. I've personally never trusted powder spells, they're never quite right when used. Sometimes they work right, but other times, you could have......an accident happen." Merlin said.
Lynne gulped as she should have really known better than this.
"Still, she wanted to get you all into the Christmas spirit, huh? Well I know something that could be just as fun." Merlin said as he spoke some words that they didn't quite understand and the magic he used began to transform Lisa, Marilyn, Ann, Jackie, and Stephanie back into adults, but it also did something to their clothes as it did to Gloria and Lynne, Martin, and Jason and turned their clothes to look Victorian and the whole house was now decorated in Victorian Christmas fashion.
"Oh wow, this is actually really beautiful. Thank you Merlin, you've actually made this a bit more of a fun night than we planned." Lisa, back to being an adult dressed in Victorian clothing.
"You're quite welcome. Now how about I join you?" Merlin said as he transformed his own clothes to a red Victorian fashion.
