"Masterhood?" you questioned. is that even a word?
The woman smirked "Well, not one that Webster bothered to learn but yes, it definitely has meaning." After a slight pause, "This collar makes you the unquestioned master of anything... or anyone you place it on."
Your eyes sparkle, "So I could walk across the street to that dealership and ask for a test drive, drop this over the gear shift and suddenly everyone thinks I own the vehicle?"
The woman exhaled a huge sigh of relief, pleased that your first thought wasn't to enslave people. "That is right! Transfers of ownership occur and are permanent for nonliving things. Buildings, vehicles, objects, you can acquire them all! I must warn you though, a building is not the same as a business..."
"Oh my GOSH!" You exclaimed alarming the woman helping you. "I can use this on living creatures!" The woman's face fell. "Do language or intelligence barriers matter?" You ask excitedly, not noticing her growing concern.
The woman couldn't help but expect that you were planning to use this on an infant or special needs person, and as much as she loathed it, and you, she had to answer. "Not at all, any command you state will be followed to the best of the creatures ability as interpreted by the collar, not the individual under your command."
"So, you're telling me, Buster will finally poo when I tell him to, not 10 minutes after I give up and go back inside?" The level of control you had finally dawned on you, "And I can ask him complex questions to find out what he wants, like bark when I say it, hungry, thirsty, play, walk, potty. He will look like the smartest dog in the universe."
Relieved by the innocence of your plans the woman just smiled and nodded, and with that you were off.
