"Can we just leave this rimeline alone for now," Kel sighed. "Maybe just keep an eye on things in case Morgan shows up."
Kat, Katie and Kellie looked at one another before shrugging. "I guess," Kellue answered. "What do you think Merlin?"
The ancient wizard smirked as he gazed at the four girls. "I believe that would be fine," he stated. "Sometimes discretion is the better part of.......oh no."
Kellie looked up in alarm as she listened to Merlin. The wizard's smile had vanished as he looked out towards the living room. Kellir had vaguely felt something but obviously Merlin was more in tune with what was going. She watched as the ancient wizard slowly rose to his feet, his eyes fixed on something just out of view.
"Kellie, Kat," he said solemnly. "I need you to come with me...we have company."
Kellie and Kat complied as they cautiously followed Merlin. As they approached the living room they could hear what sounded like a young girl crying. Looking towards the couch they could see a blond teen of 14 sobbing hysterically as another young teen tried to comfort her. Kat gazed at the two, immediately recognizing the young brunette.
"Jackie!? What are you doing here?"
Jackie glanced up at Kat, a look of hurt and anger in her eyes. "Katie," she whispered. "Why? Why did you throw us out? We didn't know?"
Kat stood in stunned silence as the brunette girl now began to cry softly. Merlin sighed as he looked the two over, he suspected what had occured. "Morgan," he whispered, gritting his teeth.
"What are you talking about Merlin," Kellie asked.
Meelin looked at his protege/daughter with a look of sadness. "Morgan La Fey," he mumbled. "She...she must of attacked. These two now share the same fate as you Kellie. They've been removed from their timeline for their actions."
Kat gaped at her sisters friend, shocked and saddened that Jackie was resigned to this fate. "How," she whispered.
"My summation is that the other one altered reality to a point that she became displaced from her time," he stated. "That girl is sytong in Morgan's magic. She was tricked into doing something resulting in both of them being removed."
"So who is she," Kellie asked curiously.
Merlin looked sadly at Kellie, knowing that she would be devasted to learn her identity. "I'm sorry Kellie that girl is your sister Ann."
"Ann," Kellie exclaimed. "No...no it cant be?!?!"
Kellie rusged to the young teens side. Grabbing her face she turned it towards her gasping in shock as she beheld her sisters delicate young features. "No," she whispered, tears welling in her eyes. "Nooo Ann, no. Why? Why? What did you do Ann? What did you do!"
The 14 year old Ann looked at Kellie, still not realizing whi the 16 year old girl was. "I..I didnt know who she was," she wailed. "I...I just wanted to be happy." Ann broke down once more as she buried her face in her hands.
"Kat," Merlin spoke, his voice soft yet stern. "You and Kel need to return to your timeline. Find out what happened. See if you can save these two. Report back when with everything you discover."
"Okay," Kat said. "But what about these two?"
"Morgans magic has made your aunt Kellie's sister once more," he said softly. "These two will stay here under my protection until we can fix this."
Kat nodded as she now looked at Ann. "Im...so sorry Aunt Ann," she moaned. "I'll fix this, I promise I'll do what I can to help you two."
Ann continues to sob uncontrollably as Jackie remained silent. As Kat left, Kellie continued to gawk at her little sister. Her worst fears were coming true, Morgan had attacked her family resigning her sister and her friendto the same fate as her. She needed to find out what happened and hopefully help Ann anf Jackie return to thwir right timeline.
