“So how long is this going to take,” Jackie grumbled, crossing her arms. Ann rubbed her chin thoughtfully as she considered their fate. “Well it took a few minutes for Gloria to become 6,” she mused. “But then again she got hit with a big dose. We just sprinkled a little bit on ourselves so we probably have some time.”
Jackie and Stephanie sighed, neither one really wanted to relive their childhood again but realized it would be easier if they were together. Stephanie now stood up stretching. “I don’t know about you two but I could use a drink,” she sighed.
“Drink sounds nice,” Ann smiled. “What do you think Jackie?”
Jackie paused, she had never drank alcohol before, still she didn’t want Stephanie to know that in reality she was really a 14 year old girl. “Yeah let’s do it,” she said enthusiastically. As the three women now made their way towards the kitchen Ann pulled Jackie to the side. “You gong to be okay,” she asked. “I mean have you ever had alcohol before?”
“No,” Jackie admitted sheepishly. “But there’s no way I’m not going along with this. I mean we’re best friends and maybe more. I’m not going let her monopolize your time while I’m here.”
“Please tell me your not trying to compete with her on who is my better friend,” Ann groaned.
Jackie looks flummoxed as she looked at Ann. “Ummm no,” She stammered. “I’m ummm perfectly fine with you two being friends. Why wouldn’t I be, we’re adults.”
Ann raised an eyebrow as she looked Jackie over, the girl turned woman seemed a little jealous of Ann’s friendship with Stephanie. Jackie and Ann did share a deep bond, the 14 year old may be a bit jealous of the fact that Stephanie was able to see Ann more often than she was. Jackie, while mature for her age, was still just a kid. “A kid I happen to be a little in love with,” Ann thought sadly. “Ugh Ann, why do you always seem to get yourself into these situations.”
“Hey listen,” Ann said softly. “I really appreciate you doing this with me. Becoming a little kid can’t be easy, you know considering.” Jackie blushed slightly as she squeezed Ann’s hand. “Ann when it comes to you Id do anything,” she sighed. “Even if it means going back to kindergarten.”
“Thanks Jackie,” she smiled. “Just be nice with Stephanie okay. I know she can be a bit of a pain but she’s really a nice person when you get to know her.”
As the two entered the kitchen they could see Stephanie fiddling with a wine bottle. “Hope you like Merlot,” she called as she opened the bottle and poured out glasses for the three of them. “We’ll drink up ladies,” she smirked. “In a short time we’re going to be to young to enjoy this.”
Ann and Jackie happily took their glasses as Stephanie lifted hers in the air. “To a second childhood,” she said, slightly unsure. “Like the sound of that,” Ann smirked as she took as sip. Jackie watched the two drink their wine as she stared at her glass. Not wanting to be shown up by Stephanie, Jackie took a long swig of wine coughing immediately. “Damn girl,” Stephanie exclaimed. “Didn’t realized you drank like that.”
Jackie tried to compose herself as she looked at Stephanie. For a first drink she realized she had probably committed some sort of social snaffu. Most adults wouldn’t of tried to drink like that, trying to cover for herself she smiled and looked at Stephanie confidently. “Hey might as well get it in while I can,” she smirked. “Could be any moment we end up as kids again.”
Before Ann or Stephanie could answer the women noticed themselves begin to glow. Gasping in shock they watched each other as they began to grow younger. The women watched as their faces began to smooth, the mature adult features they had grown accustomed to softening as they began to age backwards. Ann watched as Stephanie and Jackie looked worriedly at their bodies. From what she could see their bodies were begin to slim down. The extra weight of adult hood melting away, while their breasts began to perk up. As quickly as it happened though the glow ceased leaving three college age women standing in the kitchen.
“It stopped,” Stephanie said quietly. The others looked themselves over critically, noticing that while their clothing was still functional, it was definitely baggy around their hips and waist. Ann glanced in the hallway mirror both shocked and happy by what she saw. “Wow,” she exclaimed. “I think we’re all 21 again.”
“Really,” Jackie exclaimed. “That’s great, I wouldn’t mind being 21.”
“Me either,” Stephanie said, somewhat relieved. “Do you think it’s done though?”
Ann rubbed her chin as she gazed at her regressed friends. “Probably not,” she grumbled. “I’m guessing we have a ways to go still. On the bright side though I guess we go back a little bit slower than Gloria did.”
Stephanie and Jackie frowned as they now joined Ann by the mirror. Both women had to admit they looked beautiful. Firm lean bodies, perky breasts and beautiful faces stared back from the mirror. If they were going to be 21 for a little while they should probably enjoy.
“I guess I can live with this,” Stephanie shrugged. “Although Maybe It’s me But do you guys.....feel younger too?”
Ann paused, Stephanie seemed to be on to something. Looking at her youthful face an urge to hit the bar or a party was beginning to creep into her mind. While she retained her memories she was feeling more and more like a college kid. “Think it’s part of the spell,” she said. “Remember What Lynne said, we become less mature as we grow younger.”
“Well that just super sucks,” Stephanie frowned, causing Jackie to laugh.
“So were college kids then ,” she smirked. “Might as well enjoy it while we can, which begs the question. What should we do now?”
The theee college age girls now rubbed their chins thoughtfully as they pondered their next move.
