Pete was excited as he had the power to change into any animal on the planet he wanted. he had to try it out as he thought long and hard about it, but soon decided on where to start with. he decided to think about what he heard earlier and go with an alligator.
it did say that he could be any animal and insect he wanted, but nothing say anything about reptiles. so he kicked off his shoes as it was followed by peeling off his socks. setting his glasses aside for he won't need them as he can somehow see better without them that he then stripped off his shirt and pants, even his underwear till he was naked.
focusing his mind on the alligator while crouching down on the floor that the first thing to change was his flash skin as it soon became a leathered hide. Pete's arms and legs shrink into his body as he quickly became more covered in a blueish grey scales. shortly after, his finger and hands shrink down as each finger was tipped with a wicked claw that this was the same with his feet.
Pete's bones inside his body became bigger and stronger as they were being rearranged. His eyes turn into a shade of yellow as his black pupils became reptilian slit that a massive tail rips its way out of the top of the rear, till it was about 5 feet long. then, within seconds, an alligator with Pete's human face was all that was left as it didn't stay for long when his head pushes its way out and becomes an alligator's face while Your mouth elongates and fills with nasty-looking fangs.
"I can still speak? I'm guessing that I have to learn how to speak gator. then again, maybe I am speaking alligator as it's just coming out as my normal voice." Pete said as he was overjoyed by this.
"i can't believe it! I'm an alligator, a real life living alligator! still, there must be a reason why they gave me such a gift. maybe I can help save lives by using this power of change and be like a super hero, like those people from the show on Animorphs, manimal, and so on." he said while he wriggled his toes.
still, now that he was an alligator in form as his physical appearance makes him look like any alligator to those who see him is where his mind was still unchanged by the transformation. all he wanted to do right now was to lay in the sunlight, but he was still in the house. if he goes outside that he'll have to undo the change and redo the process again as he remembered he had a year with it.
