So it was that Dawn Thunder the unknowing
thunderbird went into the shower and turned on the old taps
of the Main Lodges lake fed water supply.
What came out of the shower head was icy cold
but pure
Thunderbird Lake water.
Since thunder people instinctively avoid
splashing about in water
preferring instead to soaring high in the sky tossing about lightening bolts
and creating rumbles of thunder
when they flap their wings
when the icy cold water struck her unhuman thunderbird girl bare exposed skin it caused
natural processes to kick in to protect the clueless
female thunder.
Her skin itched slightly and then her human hairs receded and she was feeling the pleasurable
sensation of her thunder feathers emerging and covering up every
bit of exposed flesh.
What had been blue human eyes peering out of Dawn's still human face
changed and it was now
the black specks and golden rims of a eagle who was staring out
at the world.
And so Dawn comtinued her shower
now revealed to be something different then Trevor could have imagined.
