Nathanel was an adult in his early thirties. He had short brown hair, and blue eyes. As a little boy, he'd been shy around girls and afraid of getting "cooties" from them, but as an adult, he was much more confident, and was happily married to the love of his life, Olivia.
Now olivia was a woman who was also in her early thirties. She had tan skin, waist-long wavy blonde hair, and blue eyes. As a little girl, she loved to chase after boys to try and kiss them, but as an adult, she was far more restrained and mature, especially since she was happily married to Natanel.
The two had been married recently, and were currently enjoying their honeymoon in a room at a fine hotel. It was late afternoon, and the sun was going down, painting the sky a vivid orange color.
What these two lovers didn't know was that they'd soon change along with the rest of the world.
"Well, what do you think, Olivia?" Nathanel asked her with a confident smile "We got this wonderful room for our week alone together, and at such a low price too."
"It's nice for what it is." Olivia replied with a calm smile "I can't say much about room-service since we haven't ordered anything yet, but . . . still . . . the decor is nice."
"And just look at the view we get!" he happily told her as he looked outside to the ocean.
That's right when it started. In a flash, both Nathaniel and Olivia found themselves swimming in their own clothes.
Nathanel could no longer see out the window, but more importantly, he felt his white tee shirt now went down to his ankles. Hearing some huffing behind him, he turned around to see his wife was now in a similar situation, with her struggling to hold her dress up over her now flat chest.
They saw that they'd been turned into kids on older than five years of age. Both of them were blushing. Neither of them spoke because they were in too much shock over what had happened to them.
"What's going on?" Nathanel thought to himself nervously "I'm a kid again! BOTH of us are!"
"Why did this happen?" a frightened Olivia thought to herself "Why is my hubbie a little boy, and what happened to my womanly figure?" Interestingly enough, Olivia's hair hadn't shrunk, leaving it touching the floor behind her for about three inches.
Before either of them had time to react any further, with another flash, both of their clothes shrunk to fit their younger bodies.
They were both glad that at least they could move around again, but as they stared at eachother, old childhood thoughts began to enter their minds.
"Oh no!" Natanel thought as he looked at Olivia "I'm trapped in a room with a girl! If she touches me, I'll get cooties! Just stay calm. Whatever you do, don't let her know you're afraid."
"Look at him!" Olivia thought with a sly grin on her face "He's such a CUUUTIE! I'm soooo gonna make him MINE!" and she slowly walked towards him, while he slowly backed away from her. They then broke into a chase with Nathanel running all around the room, and Olivia playfully running to catch him, giggling all the way.
He looked behind him just once, but her ran into a wall, and fell on his back. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt him as much as he thought, but this gave Olivia time to catch up with him, and pin him to the floor.
"No! Please don't kiss me!" Nathanel screamed "I don't want cooties!"
"Hee-hee! Silly Nate!" she said as she looked down at him with a sly grin "We've been dating for five years, got married not too long ago, and have kissed LOTS of times already! The way I see it, you're already infected with my cooties! Hee-hee-hee!"
"M-Married?!" Nate asked with a scared look on his five-year-old face.
"Of course, Silly!" Olivia replied with a grin and a raised eyebrow "Don't you remember? There was cake, music, and our whole families were there for it. YOU were the one to propose to ME! Don't you remember that?"
After thinking about it, he replied with a nervous smile "Oh yeah! Right! I . . . I'm sorry Oli." he said as he scratched the back of his head "I think becoming kids again is making us act like kids too! I still love you. . . even if you gave me cooties . . . and I never meant to make you doubt my love."
"It's alright." Oli told him with a smile as she helped him back up to his feet "What matters is that you're mine . . . and I'm yours. We shouldn't let a little thing like this stop us from being true to our feelings for eachother. Who knows? This could be the start of a fun new adventure for us!" and she planted a kiss on his cheek, making him blush and even smile a bit.
"I p-promise I'll always be here for you, Oli." Nate told her with a nervous smile.
"And I promise I'll never leave your side, my cutie hubby Nate!" Oli told him as she giggled.
As they stood there, they heard the laughter and giggling of other children from the other rooms.
"I th-thought this hotel was for adults only!" Nate said, confused.
"It IS," Oli replied with a smile as she listened to their neighboring guests "but I'm guessing we're not the only ones who got kiddified! Hee-hee-hee!"
