Andrew coughed as the haze cleared hope spreading across his face as he looked around. Again nothing he was about to throw the lamp in frustration when a piece of paper shot out of the hole and began fluttering in the air in front of Andrew.
Curiosity got the better of him as he began to read the note.

Andrew looked at the paper in disbelief. Did he have to sign up for a genie? Or is this a job offer?
He re read it and looked down at the lamp.
“Hmm should I do it? It’s tempting but I don’t even know what it’s offering me. I don’t even have a pen to sign even if I wanted to.”
As he said that a flash of light shot through the hole in the lamp and next to the paper a feather pen appeared.
