Dan picks up the camera as he wipes off the juice, and starts adjusting it as John and Rick are laughing. “All right you pricks! It’s my turn! Let’s see how you like to be kicked around!” And takes a picture of the two of them, adjusting it so the transformation was slower like before. “What are you talking about dan?” John said laughing yet, with Rick still chuckling too. “Oh you’ll see! Plus side is we know we can rip up the pictures as long as we do it in time!” Both John and Rick began to feel weird as he said this.
“What’s happening to us? What was that a picture of?” John exclaimed as he began to walk towards dan. He picked the photo out of his hand and saw two shiny new collegiate footballs baking in the sun on the turf! “Oh no!” He said as he tried to run to Rick, but by then he was already starting to turn brown and leathery. “Rick! He’s turning us into footballs!” He exclaimed as he tried to run, but by then not only was ricks midsection beginning to swell up, so was johns!
He started waddling more and more as his legs began to adjust to his widening as and waste, his tummy beginning to protrude more and more. “Dan! You gotta change is back then!? You gotta promise you will!?” He exclaimed as his skin was now leather and bumpy. “Don’t worry John! I won’t leave you in the field alone!” He said patting him on the shoulder as his body rounded out in the middle, taking on more of the form of a football now. John smiled and tried to speak, but as he did, his mouth began to turn leather as well, and he waddled around to see Rick.
Rick was grabbing his mouth with pudgier hands as he too was forming into a ball more and more, his mouth now just part of a football. His nose along with johns began to disappear, and Rick sat down on the turf watching them both finish changing. Soon there eyes became rounded bumps on there new football bodies as they both tried to grab things with there disappearing arms. Soon they just had hands slowly swelling and losing shape, becoming more like the footballs they were becoming. There hair matted down and disappeared as there feet morphed together, both ends becoming a point. Finally seams began to form on there stomachs, as air holes with the black lettering “inflate here to 7lbs” formed on the sides of them.
They both finished changing, and for a brief moment tethered on there bottom ends, like they were standing. Finally they both fell down, the sound of leather creaking as they shrank to official size and shape. Dan picked up the ball that had the words John etched in black on the leather and said “told you I was gonna kick you guys around!” He then gave a punt, and grabbed Rick doing the same.
