You were in a box, it was dark, for a long time you could hear the wheels of a truck moving for hours on end. There was no escape as if you clawed out anywhere there would be more boxes on top or by the sides. Asleep you breathed in and out the warm air. The Truck stopped and there was the sound of men unloading boxes. After awhile you felt yourself being moved and shaken a little, scared you just huddled yourself being as still as possible. Then after being put down the voices went away, but scared you just held still.
A few minutes of waiting by yourself a familiar voice said "It's nice they brought our stuff for us..."
A less familiar voice more directed towards you asked "Is it just me or is that box breathing?"
"Shouldn't be, I shouldn't have brought anything alive..." then the tip of a blade entered your box you lowered yourself a little and the blade halted a little bit. "...Yeah something moved inside... Well if it's anything dangerous i've got this..." Then the blade went through quickly, and then light and fresh air entered the box and you could see the face. A kind pale face, with curly blond hair, and cool blue eyes looking at you with confusion for a split second until you pounced up and at her.
"Mommy!" You started bawling "It was so scary in their, there was no where to go, and it was getting harder to breathe, an-"
"Calm down Katherine. What are you doing here?" you sniffled and told her that you had gotten something to put in the box, fell in, and then got trapped inside. Mommy got a little annoyed and said "Well thanks for the thought... Butt I can't have you here." There was a second girl with you two whose pale skin was significantly more white than pink, and her reddish eyes and straight black hair was a little scary.
The girl said "Mommy thought Emily? Didn't know you were into beastmen."
mommy started to have a scary look in her eyes and said "Oh no no no NO! It's not that way, when I was 15 my parents got her as a present for me and the little thing was so clingy. She sees me as a mother figure. She's nice at night, but i'm not sure if we can keep her here."
The girl said "Well i'm fine with her, always fun to have another guinea pig." Then she left the room.
Mommy petted you on the head and said "Don't let her scare you Katherine. I'll need to check on a few things, but we'll see if we can make things work. Please stay in here for a little while. I'll get you a treat on the way back." You whimpered a little, but let her go as you started exploring the room. Mommy Emily went to the college office, and managed to grab a permit somehow.
Emily sighed to herself and muttered "Was about to do something new, and... She follows me here... Now I have to do paperwork when I should be making new connections....."
