Martin was a teen boy of about sixteen years of age.
He had short black hair, and brown eyes. He wasn't the best student, but at the same time, he wasn't the worst student either.
Tonight, he was going to this dance party in hopes of meeting some girls. He'd been too shy to speak to them since he entered highschool, which was odd since as a little boy, he couldn't wait to start hitting on them.
When he entered, the music was playing loudly, the lights were flashing different colors, and it was very crowded.
He tried to talk to some girls, but they were either talking to eachother, or with other guys, and Martin didn't want to be rude.
So he wound up sitting by himself on a chair near the punch bowl.
Hearing someone sit down next to him in another chair, he turned around to see Lilian, a girl the same age as him with short brown hair in a ponytail on the lower back of her head, light brown eyes, and wearing purple-rimmed glasses. He'd done a few class projects with her, and they passed. Although she'd insisted it was a team effort, privately, he was conviced the only reason they passed was because of her.
On Lilian's end, she liked Martin, and wanted to be more than friends, but she was too shy to admit it.
"No luck with the ladies tonight, huh?" she asked with a nervous smile.
"Nope." he simply replied as he hung his head "I'm just too nervous. If only I'd had the confidence I had when I was a kid."
"Yeah." Lilian replied as she nervously scratched the back of her head "Me too."
What neither of them knew was that they were both about to get their wish.
"So...what were you like as a kid?" Martin asked, because now he was curious.
"Well, I was a real-" Lilian was cut off as with a flash, and when it cleared "-tomboy. Always gettn' inta trouble. Wait...WHAT?! I-I'm five! YOU'RE five too! How'd this happen?!" with another flash, all their clothing resized to fit them, and Lilian's glasses no longer had lenses, but she didn't need them anymore since her vision was now perfect.
The two newly-minted Kidteens looked at eachother for a few seconds before Martin got a sly grin on his face, and Lilian had a look that was filled with confidence.
"So Lily, you wanna hang out with a cool dude like me?" he asked with a cute childish smugness.
"You bet!" she said with a confident smile and a fist-pump "Not 'cause you told me to though!"
With that, the two five-year-olds got off their chairs, and started dancing together to the music, which was now some jazzed-up version of some kindergarten songs.
When the slow dance came, they took turns leading, and when the music stopped, the moved in for the kiss.
The kiss jolted them back to their senses, and they just stared at eachother, blushing, with nervous smiles.
"Wow...um...sorry Lily." Marty said as he stood there nervously.
"That's ok, Marty." she replied as she blushed with a smile "I kinda liked it. Hee-hee!"
"So we're both kids again?" Martin asked, a bit confused.
"I think a better term would be 'Kidteens' since we still have our teen personas mixed in with our kid personas...and judging by the rest of the student body in here, we're not the only ones!"
"So whaddya wanna do, babe?" Marty asked with a confident grin as she took his hand in hers.
"Anything as long as it's with YOU, cutie!" Lily replied with a flirtatious wink.
