While school was in place, other events like Animalia's Funniest Videos weren't neglected. Those who were in school didn't leave to watch the ceremony, but they did watch it as part of free hour. Beth's revenge on two guys who wanted to date her got her third place overall, which was better than anyone expected, let alone Beth.

There were also some other plans in motion, mainly involving strange creatures that were hard to believe existed, and future Animalia Events.

Jack and Mary Piper were at the Great Hall for talking about their new role in next month's Animalia Halloween Exposition.
"Why do people like to be shocked silly by such things?" asked Jack, who still didn't get the role they were to play, as 'Cannibal Underground Mole Mutants'.
"It's supposed to be for those people who like to badly made movies/poorly written horror graphic novels." said the PR-MD agent, "But the main idea for it was from the same Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy episode that inspired the Mister and Miss Farmhand Competition, Boom Boom, Out Goes the Ed."
"I think I saw that episode once." said Mary "The problem was that the blackout in the cul-de-sac coincidentally occurred in one Ed's comic books, Night of Terror. It wasn't helped that two of the characters disappear because one of them doesn't want to miss the Miss Arduous Fieldworker Pageant on his tv. The creator of the show once said 'Seriously, if you lived in this cul-de-sac you would have moved by now.'."

"So why are we doing a blue surgeonfish for Animalia Aquatica?" asked one of the scientists on Mieni Atoll.
"Apparently one young girl wanted to meet Dory from the Finding Nemo series." said the other scientist.
"You'd be surprised to know that surgeonfish are actually quite dangerous." said the first one, "The reason for the name is because it has a hidden blade near it's tailfin to protect the fish from predators."
"All the more reason to get it uplifted." said the second. "Not only can we learn if the blade will be near either the hips or the ankles, we can also appeal to younger children, and debunk the myth of the five-second memory of goldfish once and for all."

"So what's new for Project Chimera?" asked one scientist during a brainstorming session.
"What do call something with the body of a rat, the legs of an ostrich, the ears of a rabbit, and the voice of a bird?"
"This better be a joke." said one unamused scientist.
"Actually it's not, the creature is called a Jerboa, and it lives mainly in desert terrain in northern Africa and Asia. Their ears give them great hearing, and they can hop at speeds up to 10 miles per hour. One male and female can, and actually was, found near New Zerzura."

"So there was another donation by one of those people who were behind some of those taxidermist frauds we got recently," said one scientist at Horizon Labs, "But this time he actually got us a real fish."
"Say whaaat?" said another scientist, actually doing an accurate rendition of Stewie from Family Guy.
"It's a six feet long, 900 pound white sturgeon that was caught in an Oregon estuary less than two weeks ago. Apparently people want to know if large freshwater fish like white sturgeons can be affected like Gladys and Rapier were." said the first.
"The more you know..." said the second.
