While most of the classes at WSA were somewhat to be expected, especially in high school, there were some new things learned, especially of classes.
---
One really unexpected thing learned was about the High School Arts classes. First of all, art class was divided by school ranking, mainly to keep things age appropriate. Second of all, there were some things that were only originally college level.
"I'm sorry everyone." said the art teacher, a pure white mare, coming in from her office where she was answering a phone call. "Our assigned model for this month couldn't make it." At that, nearly everyone groaned. "But don't worry, I'll be more than happy to fill in." At that, she let the dressing gown she was wearing drop to the floor, causing several males to break out in a cold sweat, etc., at seeing her curves and muscles.
During the movement between classes, Sophie was able to learn more about her.
"Her name is Rebecca." said one of her school mates, "She was one of the pin-up models from the 1950s. But she also suffered from what Dr. Jones calls 'changing tastes'. She owns what can be considered the largest horse in racing history, which her grandson calls 'Ganondorf' due to it having a solid black coat with red mane and tail, like in the Legend of Zelda games. He was uplifted in the original outbreak, and he converted, and double-dosed, her. Before her conversion, she did artwork after she 'retired', and now she teaches art class here. This is also only her second year after she got her teaching degree."
"I've heard a rumor that her favorite song is Peeping Tom by Jamie Berry Ft. Rosie Harte." said another student in the hallway, "But the only one who gets to 'touch' her is her new husband, Ganondorf."

Another thing that was done was a mandatory swimming class once a week. The reasoning for this was the simple fact that 'learning to swim can save your life'. While some would be surprised about it, it turned out that a bird's bones could do a good job at keeping them afloat. Both Sophie and Roland were also surprised to learn that their wings could function as effective rudders, while it was expected that she wasn't expected to hold her breath longer than she normally would.
Another thing that was surprising was the self defense classes taught by none other Ami. While she wore her "empress' kimono" during said classes, she was all about teaching how to say "hands off" without hurting anyone. This was also deemed mandatory due to the increased strength, much to Sophie's relief. It was also a surprisingly effective stress reliever.

The final thing that was surprising was near the main office. There were those who were gathering around the bulletin board. When Sophie and Roland got there, there was a sign-up sheet for next year's IAC Games. As it turned out, if you did sign up, you had the entire "pre-IAC season" to practice for what you signed up. While Sophie and Roland were interested in the Games, they didn't know if they wanted to take part yet. Fortunately the sign-up sheet was up for the entirety of the school year, and where changed regularly.
