“So how are the preparations? Everything is running smoothly?”
The aide straightened when he was addressed and replied readily “No issues so far director. We already saw an influx of costumers above our best predictions. The owners of the shops all signed our ironclad contract and were instructed in how to treat and handle the changing visitors, and our security is already ready for capture and shipment. Our analysts all agree that after today more and more malls would be convinced to enter a partnership with our business, after seeing the success of our operation.”
The director calmly gazed outside the massive window on her office, watching as the early costumers started to visit the newly reopened mall with interest, unaware of the dangers “Very good. Today as you know we started our plan of expansion with zoo animals, only last week we finally finished our enclosures for the savannah wildlife. Now all we need” The woman gestured with a smirk at the people below “are the animals”

“What do you think about this beret, Taylor?” The girl asked her best friend, twirling before the mirror with a wide smile.
The two friends decided to be two of the first to visit the restructured mall and skipped school only for this reason, and were two of the favorite regular costumers of this particular shop. Standing alongside them a nervous attendant displayed and delivered a new accessory when Taylor discarded the first pick.
“And you Emily, what do you think? You are after all the employee here, what do you suggest?” The addressed girl was clearly struggling to say something, but every time thought better of it. In normal circumstances the attendant would have been delighted to help this pair of costumers choosing a new wardrobe like other times, but with the new partnership between the mall and FarmazooCo she was told to overlook the strange happening from her boss, under threat of dismissal.
The cause of the nervousness were her two friends themselves, like every other time they started to browse through a wide assortment of clothes, heedless from her subtle suggestions to return another time, ideally never if she had a say about it. Her worst fears became reality when with every accessory or worn cloth the two girls acquired more and more animal traits, and behaved as if they always were like that from the beginning, obvious to the changes.
Indeed, the two teens now sported a matching pair of gazelle antlers and hairy ears, while the first hint of beige fur started to appear on their chest area. The attendant forces a smile on her face as a short black furred tail peeks out and sways freely behind Amy, whilst she fixes another beret between the horns.
“No, this red beret will not do. Do you have something that will highlight better my antlers and will not stand out to much against my fur?” Emily’s smile becomes strained as Amy turns to her and twitches her ears in a very animal like manner.
The attendant check again outside for the familiar uniforms of the FarmazooCo security, and finding none she drags the two costumers aside to warn them.
“Amy, Taylor, please get out of here and return immediately home! This place is not what it seems!”
“What do you mean Emily? We just arrived, there is still much to see and buy, why would we return home?”
Emily huffed and stomped frustrated on the ground “This place is dangerous! Please, you have to leave immediately or else…” A muscular hand comes down and grips Emily’s shoulder, cutting off the conversation between the two.
“Everything all right here? Miss, was this employee harassing you?” A man in FarmazooCo uniform ask the changing girl with a charming smile while the attendant pales and tries to escape the strong grip.
“No, it’s all right officer, we are friends and she was only advising me”
“Is that so?” The man glares at the employee “Well, I don’t want to keep you from visiting our mall anymore, meanwhile this girl should see the manager for improper behavior. Good morning miss and don’t skip our new fast food, this is the opening day and all dish are with a big sale. Come Emily, lead the way”
