Jeff quickly spun back around, blocking his dad's view of the screen. "Oh, this is just some programming homework. After I'm finished I'll come meet you downstairs." For a moment, it seemed like his dad was going to question him, but instead he smiled and ruffled Jeff's hair. "Whatever you say son. Don't be afraid to come down when you're done." He then turned and walked out of the room. Jeff sighed in relief, he was spared from having to explain a potentially awkward situation.
Or so he thought.
As Mike walked into the kitchen to grab a drink, he noticed out of the corner of his eye a box.
Said box was none other than the box for the Chronivac. Jeff had clearly forgotten it in his excitement.
Picking it up, he read a small manual which went over the features of the Chronivac. Instantly, his interest was piqued. It had the ability to change someone into just about anything? Count him in!
Walking back to Jeff's room, Mike slowly opened the door, causing Jeff to spin around.
"Hey kiddo, I found this." Mike said excitedly, holding up the Chronivac box, causing Jeff to gasp out in suprise. "I'm going to assume that thing on your computer is this isn't it?" Mike asked, causing his son to reluctantly nod.
"I'm interested, son." Clearly expecting his dad to be pissed, disappointed, or uncomfortable, this reaction caught Jeff off guard.
"Y-You are?!" He almost screamed in joy. His dad nodded, smiling.
Jeff wasted no time in listing off the different categories of transformation he could undergo; become an anthropomorphic animal, change his gender, become older or younger, swap bodies...
Mike pondered these options.
"I think I'd like to..."
