“That Bitch,” Adrian ranted as he stormed through the mall. He could see Valerie up ahead holding hands with another man. The guy had clean cut brown hair but was taller than him, probably the reason she was cheating on him with this guy.
Adrian stormed forwards, his fists clenched into balls and with a heavy wind his fist cracked into the stranger’s head. He fell to the ground while Valarie yelped and stumbled backwards.
“You ass! How dare you touch my girlfriend!” Adrian screamed while Valarie covered her mouth.
“Girlfriend?!” The guy asked in confusion while rubbing his head and rising to his feet, looming over Adrian with a growl contorting on his face, “That’s my fiancé!”
“Fiancé?!” Adrian asked while balling his fists, however in an instant his anger at this stranger vanished and he turned to Valarie noticing she had a ring on her finger. His eyes widened and the guy next to him narrowed his eyes.
“Explain this,” he muttered with venom lining his voice.
“I cheated on you with him,” Valarie explained in deadpan while motioning to Adrian, “Because he isn’t a rule addicted, brown nosing-“

“I’m sorry I killed your marriage,” Adrian apologized drunk Lucas he wavered from side to side and blinked each eye individually.
“Bro, bro, bro... I don’t give a shit about you,” the man Adrian now knew as Shawn replied in an equally drunk voice, “She was cheating on me for over a year and just using me for my money...”
“I guess she wasn’t actually in an exclusive tennis club...” Adrian laughed before Shawn started laughing as well.
“She told you that too...” Shawn trailed before the barkeep walked past and he quickly downed his cup of booze, “Another!”
“You two are cut off,” the barkeeper announced while beginning to clean water off the counter.
“Dang...” Shawn sighed.
“I know a place that’ll... that’ll keep serves up,” Adrian mumbled before quickly paying and hobbling out of the mall bar. He and Shawn stumbled for a little before he caught Shawn and they wandered forward drunkly.
“What am I going to tell my mom?” Shawn asked with a sigh while they stumbled past clothing stores, “She was so excited when she heard i’d Proposed.”
“Then let’s find you a lady,” Adrian grinned before stopping. Before them lay a large store with ancient looking decor in the windows, “Maybe one works there...”
The two men quickly wandered in and the bell gave off a loud chime. An ancient looking shopkeeper looked them up and down before sighing.
“Looking for sobriety pills?” The shopkeeper asked.
“Do you have any ladies for my friend here?” Adrian asked not even sure what he just said a few seconds later.
“I need a fiancé for my mom to see,” Shawn explained in an equally drunk way.
“Hmmm,” the shopkeeper muttered before reaching under the counter and pulling up a metal case. He lifted the lid revealing a wedding ring and looked at Shawn carefully.
“Find someone willing and this will make them your fiance. Everyone that sees her will believe last instances of you mentioning this girl aligned with her appearance rather than the one you lost,” the shopkeeper explained before closing the lid.
“I’ll buy it,” Adrian laughed before pulling his wallet out, “The least I can do for wrecking your last romance.” I
