Suddenly everything goes black for you, and you are out cold. You aren’t sure at all what’s happening to you or your body at this point. However you felt like something was.... different about well... pretty much everything.
You then miraculously regain consciousness and the first thing you noticed when you woke up was this horrid stench all around you. You saw nothing but a few trees, and the air felt hot and humid all around you, and a few bugs spiraled around in the air above you. You didn’t know why, but you felt almost attempted to lung and devour those insects on sight, but you refused and sat up instead to examine yourself.
It was then that you noticed what had happened to your body, and you screamed however due to what you have become you instead let out a loud hiss. You covered your mouth almost immediately as you heard the noise you made, and you looked down at your body to examine it. You seemed to be asleep in some mud and it now covered your back, and you left a depression in the ground in the shape of you.
The air around you smelled like absolute shit, and as you looked around you found yourself in the middle of a swamp. Looking down at your hands you saw that they had shifted into large claws, built for strength instead of dexterity. Your feet had become large talons with three toes, and as you lifted one up from the mud you left behind a large footprint that reminded you of some dinosaur movies you've seen.
Looked behind you and saw your ass was completely covered by a thick layer of mud, but what surprised you was an extra appendage that you seem to have grown. You reached around, and eventually grabbing onto it after a few tries. You were surprised that you actually felt your tail, and you could move it as easily as you could any other part of your body.
You then looked down in the water and saw your reflection. You looked like a lizard, with your slitted eyes and blunt snout. You opened your mouth and saw only carnivorous jagged teeth in your maw, as well as a former tongue that you could oddly enough smell through as well as your nose.
It was then that you heard a hiss in the distance and your eyes widened when you saw a muscular male lizard creature like you. This lizard had a spear with a stone tip in its hand, and it had on a loincloth as well as bones from unknown creatures as armor.
Behind this creature you saw a very simple looking camp with tepees, and torches. There were about eight tents and you saw large muscular male lizards with spears as well just regular females, who took shelter in the tents for reasons their own.
The male then charged up and hissed right in your face, bearing his many teeth. His breath made you want to vomit, and it took all you could to keep your lunch where it was. You weren’t sure why this was happening or why the male was being so violent with you but you tried to piece things together. "What is this? A tribe, a camp? Where the hell even am I? What the hell even am I, or we?!" You thought to yourself when the lizard yet again hissed in your face, merely two inches away.
You got annoyed at this and hissed back at him, and the lizard got agitated and he punched you in the face. You fell to the ground and shook your head feeling slightly disoriented from the blow, and your spit a bit of blood out of your mouth. Despite your better judgement you decided to swung back with a right hook and nailed the large lizard right on the nose.
The lizard stumbled back a bit and you were ready for it to come again when it started laughing. You paused as you saw the lizard holding his nose, and he grinned at you then spoke in an almost unnaturally deep voice,"That was quite a punch for something as puny as you."
You paused and looked at your body again, and you noticed you were considerably muscular as what you were, but the lizard before you made you both look and feel small as he stood a foot taller than you. Still you stood your ground and asked,"What’s so funny?"
The lizard took its hand away from its nose and you saw blood oozing from his nose slits. You paused and thought to yourself,"Did I do that?"
The lizard started towards your again, but this time it was much more casual. He then put his hand on your shoulder and said,"You have lots of power, even though your prime seems a bit farther than it seems. Have you ever considered joining a tribe, like mine small tail?"
"I’m sorry, what?!" You hissed back completely puzzled as to what was going on.
The lizard let out a bellowing laugh and said,"I said, you’re a part of my tribe now."
"Whoa, I didn’t agree to this at all!! Why should I even consider this?!" You hissed back
The large lizard shook his head and sighed,"So naive, I'm not asking, and you agreed the moment you fist struck my nose. You have no weapons, no armor, and come to us completely nude too. Besides you indeed have potential as a..."
