The camera flashed and Shea panicked. She wasn't holding the device. She and her mother would still be aware of the camera but not any changes made. "I just have to focus on what I remember. If I'm aware, then maybe I can sort it out." She thought. She began to check herself and found nothing wrong. Her body, hair, and water fashion sense were still amazing so nothing wrong there. She began to think of the past and couldn't think of anything wrong.
"Phew. You're lucky nothing changed O. This could have been a big problem." Shea said relieved that he bff was still the same.
Olivia had turned into Ornella. She was a woman again, and the same age as the former Rick, but her biggest change was to relationships and race. She was a black woman. Her skin was a coco tone and her hair was rougher and darker than ever. Her features were also more pronounced and she had an obvious name change, due to her new parent. She was her bff in this reality as well.
"Honestly Shea, I don't know what you're talking about girl. It's just a camera." Ornella said.
Shea was torn. She could tell her bestie O about the camera, but her mother would be pissed. She thought she could tell when changes had happened so it wasn't too bad of a scenario.
"Okay O. You gotta be really accepting of new stuff right now. This camera is magic." Shea said with a deathly gaze.
Ornella looked at her for a minute before she started bursting out laughing. Shea was a little hurt but it wasn't anything she didn't expect to happen. She was practically crying at Shea's comment.
"Okay you don't believe me then?" Shea then switched the awareness from just no-one to both the camera user and the recipient. "Try this on for size."
