Emiko put the camera down and saw that the plan did not work out at all like she hoped. Instead of her male love, Raquel was now younger. Her wavy hair was in a cute little ponytail with a flower in it and she had a matching flower dress to boot. Judging by her face, Raquel was about 8 at best.
Emiko was starting to panic as she looked at the stupid camera. Raquel leaned over and spoke to her.
"Hey Emiko! Who did you change? What did they look like before! I wanna know! I wanna know!" She said, jumping in the booth.
Her higher pitched voice was starting to draw attention so Emiko shushed the energetic girl. Raquel giggled as she sat down. Emiko told Raquel "See that waitress over there? She was a shy, skinny guy a little bit ago. She also went from Italian to French by the looks of it"
Raquel's eyes lit up. "Wow that's funny! That reminds me of your change!"
Emiko froze. Had Raquel messed with the device before? Was she still Rick-san when she did or was it recent?
"Uh Raquel. What change?"
"Oh. Before you were a white girl named Emily and I changed you for a bit but then I tried to change you back but you turned into an asian lady instead and you were scareder so I kept it like that." In one run on sentence, Raquel had officially freaked Emiko out.
At first, she was a little angry. How could Raquel do this? Then Emiko felt horrible. In a way, she had done the same thing to Rick-sa... er, Rick. "I did it too," She thought, "and I didn't think much of it. We changed an entire mall full of people. All those people are completely different and they'll be like that forever."
Emiko looked over at the teen waitress and knew this had got to stop. She had to stop this. She was about to reach for the camera when she realized it was no longer next to her on the seat. She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice Raquel climb under the table and grab it.
"My turn!" She yelled. Emiko couldn't stop her in time. She would be unaware of the next change while the young Raquel would remember, and she couldn't do anything. The camera flashed.
