It was said there was once a village, as happy and prosperous as any other town.
Until one day a curse was placed upon it by a wizard. The well in the town’s center was corrupted by magic, transforming anyone who drank from it.
The thing about this well ... the interesting thing is that the transformations are random.
Some good.
Some bad.
But all are unpredictable.
Some last minutes, some are permanent.
All it takes is a small drop from the well to make your worst nightmare or your fondest dream come true.
Or it could be something mundane, like changing your eye colour slightly.
After the well was cursed, the village was abandoned. No one has returned since, save for an occasional brave adventurer or wandering fool.
